My favorite estates in Nakuru City, in no special order, are Kiamunyi because it has a lot of green trees and feels peaceful, Naka because it has nice apartments and is well-planned, Barnabas because it is lively and feels like a growing town, St. Mary’s White House because it has a cool and relaxed vibe, London because it has a great road network, and Milimani because it is quiet, clean, and has beautiful houses.
Lake Nakuru is mostly known for its many kinds of birds, especially the large groups of pink flamingos. You can also see animals like waterbucks, impalas, and hippos there. The town of Nakuru is found on the north side of the lake. Lake Nakuru National Park surrounds the lake and the land around it.
Most of the people in Nakuru, about 70%, are from the Kikuyu community. The Kalenjin community is the second largest group in the area.
